The Story of King Arthur

King Arthur follows the story of a young boy dreaming of being a hero. Fractured by the loss of their former leader, England is left waiting for “God’s chosen King” to appear and reunite the country. As a search for the King commences, Arthur meets Merlin the Wizard, who tells him that she has seen his future, which is marvelous to behold. As Arthur learns and grows, he eventually pulls the mystical sword from its stone sheath, and England is reunited under his rule. 

Though this story is well known, in Act II, we catch a glimpse of the aftermath of this moment. Rifts grow between Arthur and those closest to him, crafty politicians begin to incite chaos, and rumors spread throughout the land of an attack looming from the northern countries. In grappling with these challenges, Arthur comes face to face with himself and realizes he must be willing to sacrifice anything to save England.
