FOOTLOOSE PARENT MEETING INFORMATION

Attendance

Attendance at Rehearsal is essential. The cast is massive. If a performer is going to miss more than two rehearsals for a number, we can’t put them in that number. Please email John Brown if you will miss rehearsal AS SOON AS YOU KNOW ABOUT AN ABSENCE.

Costumes

All Cast need to provide the following:

1. Pair of jeans
2. Underclothing to wear under the costume
3. Base makeup

Females:

1. Nude colored tights
2. Black shoes/flats

Males:

1. Black socks
2. Black shoes

Ensemble is responsible for coming with their own makeup and hair done. A Pinterest board with 80’s hair ideas will be posted on the Facebook group.
Named Characters will have hair and makeup done by our tech crew.
Costume fitting will be scheduled in October. Watch for the sign ups and come to your slot wearing the proper underclothing.
Costume Parade will be held before Tech day and will be announced as we get closer. This is where everyone will be in full hair, makeup and costume.

Volunteering

We LOVE volunteers. Lists and signups will go out when we need help. Help will be required for sets, props, sewing, selling tickets, concessions, etc. Please keep an eye out on social media and in your email. It takes many people to make this program run. Please, if you can volunteer once, volunteer twice 🙂

Students are REQUIRED to come to at least ONE set day. Set Days are scheduled for Oct 8, 22, and 29, beginning at 9 am.

• Tickets will go on sale on Sept 26 at 10:00 am! Actors will receive their unique promo code that you can use to invite friends and family.
• The performance will be professionally recorded with a four-camera setup. BluRays will only be available by preorder for $25 and delivered within a few weeks after recording. More will be sent out on this at a later date.
